The Story Behind Our Mission

Welcome! My name is Meagan Morris, and I am the founder of PatientsPathway.org. For many years, I worked as an insurance coordinator, and a large part of my job was helping patients understand their health insurance plans. I quickly realized that for many, health insurance terminology is a whole different language. It was a privilege to help people navigate their Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and gain clarity on their coverage.

This experience showed me a common challenge, especially for those with HMO plans: the need for referrals to see a specialist. All too often, providers' offices aren't able to go the extra mile to handle this process, leaving patients feeling overwhelmed and on their own.

I started PatientsPathway.org to bridge this gap. My goal is to use my years of experience to take on the burden of referrals, scheduling, and insurance communication for you. As a HIPAA-trained and certified professional, I understand the importance of patient privacy and am committed to handling your information with the utmost care and security.
